There's never a dull moment, I must say. I really do try not to get wrapped up in the drama, but sometimes it tends to catch up to me.

Is it true what I've heard? About Pansy, I mean.

Aaaah. Hogwarts. Everyone is buzzing about the Quidditch tryouts on Wednesday. There are only a few spots open on the Slytherin team so it should be interesting to see who gets them. I intend to do my studying at the pitch so I can watch. Is anyone else going?

About a week left until school starts. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it yet. It hasn't hit me that I'm leaving for my last year. I feel entirely too old for the whole ordeal, but my education is important. I want to go places and have a career of my own. I want to make a real difference in the world. I've been thinking a lot about politics lately with everything that has been going on and I think I might like to do something like that. Public relations, speech writing, something like that. I might even like to go into office myself one day, but I'm getting a head of myself. It's nice to seriously think about things like that. It's time I really start to figure these things out.

The auction was actually quite fun. Most of the family was there and it was interesting to see them bidding against each other. You'd think the family would get together and decide on who wants what mudblood instead of wasting each other's money, but to each their own.

Nymphadora, thank you so much for taking me! It was fun hanging out with you. We should really do it more often.

What does one wear to a mudblood auction? Is there a dress code for this sort of thing? I'm trying to pick out my outfit now so I don't have to do it later. I suppose a simple enough robe should do the trick!

I already figured out Stella's clothes. Not that she can come, but she can still celebrate!

Mum said she was going to give you money so we can go to Diagon and buy our school supplies. She also threw in a bit extra so she could buy us off. I don't want to go without Dad though. Not with those dementors running around. I asked him if he wanted to come.

It's been an interesting week, hasn't it? Vampires, Werewolves and Dementors, Oh my! That's from a silly muggle book, by the way.

Hydrus, when did you want to get together for lunch? I'm absolutely bored out of my mind.

I went shopping today and found the most brilliant pink dress. I thought I might wear it to the gala next Saturday that I'm being forced to go to. At least I will look good while being bored out of my mind.

Summer hols have been good so far. Stella likes being home. I took some photographs of her yesterday.
